Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at TriMedx. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for medical equipment, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including validation and inspection of equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment, working closely with other technicians and management to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their equipment needs and provide expert advice on equipment selection, installation, and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical device technologies and advancements, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the TriMedx team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services, maintaining a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military experience or two years of equivalent experience.
  • 3 months experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle.
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
