Your Responsibilities:
You will deliver interim staffing and resource solutions tailored to client needs, with the flexibility to work on-site or remotely.

Your tasks will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing or updating financial transaction records for clients utilizing various accounting software.
  • Engaging in daily accounting functions, including transaction recording, sub-ledger account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Verifying, allocating, and entering business transaction details into the accounting system.
  • Completing month-end accounting close procedures.
  • Assisting with audits by external parties, preparing necessary schedules, gathering data, and providing requested analyses.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports related to cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other operational metrics.
  • Managing payroll and payroll tax-related submissions.
  • Analyzing financial data to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports summarizing the company's financial status.
  • Reviewing contracts, orders, and vouchers, and compiling reports to validate transactions prior to settlement.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred; an Associate's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
CPA or CMA certification is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in Public Accounting is a plus but not required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or staff accountant, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and work paper preparation.

Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis is required.

Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and/or Creative Solutions is necessary, with CCH ProSystem fx Fixed Assets being a preferred asset.

This role may involve frequent regional travel.
