Job Summary

The AR Specialist will manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable for TMG contracts. He or she will coordinate with Accounting Controller and Director of Finance to ensure all payments are received in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Running AR functions as they relate to all TMG contracts.
  • Bookkeeping for accounts receivables for all contracts and vendors.
  • Ensuring all contract vendor information is received in a timely manner (W9, COI, SOW).
  • Performing regular and accurate check runs including all documentation necessary for billing.
  • Verifying vendor information by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Assisting in the creation of policies and procedures to ensure field team requests are submitted timely and accurately.
  • Maintaining detailed records.
  • Staying up to date on the job functionalities and knowledge by participating in any offered education.
  • Completing all other tasks related to AR for TMG contracts.
  • Completing all other duties within the Accounting Department as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED; college education preferred.
  • Must have 3+ years' experience in construction accounting.
  • Must have hands-on experience using Sage Intacct Accounting Software.
  • High-level understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles as it pertains to construction.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
Physical Conditions and Requirements

May be regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate computer and/or telephone. May be required to reach, stoop, and kneel to file and process paperwork.

Pay and Benefits
