Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of thorough background checks, including past employment and criminal history.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or in the process of obtaining citizenship.
  • Minimum age of 21 at the time of hiring.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Non-user of tobacco products.
  • Vision must be 20/20 corrected; must pass near/night vision and peripheral vision tests.
  • Excellent physical fitness and successful completion of a medical examination.
  • Ability to endure extended periods of standing and sitting, including in adverse weather conditions.
  • Capability to engage in law enforcement activities including apprehension and traffic enforcement.
  • Preference given to qualified veterans.

Disqualifying Factors:

  • Any arrest or conviction history may lead to disqualification.
  • Felony convictions or equivalent offenses.
  • Adult misdemeanor offenses, including DUI.
  • Positive results on pre-employment drug screenings.
  • Multiple moving violations within specified timeframes.
  • Any behavior deemed inappropriate for law enforcement roles.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, generally scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of overtime for special events and specific assignments.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting salary for qualified candidates ranges from $68,000 to $79,000 annually, with potential increases based on experience and qualifications.
