POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee the inspection of guest accommodations, communal areas, pool, and other facilities post-cleaning to guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks. Generate reports on occupied rooms, confirm room statuses, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning tasks, and update the status of departing guest rooms. Support Housekeeping management in daily operations. Serve as a coordinator to synchronize the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. Document and address issues related to room discrepancies with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate updates regarding room assignments. Relay pertinent information to the subsequent shift. Complete necessary documentation.

Assist management in the recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and motivation of staff. Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols; report any maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure that uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds independently and over 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
