Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Arizon Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities and securing orders with satisfactory margins from assigned accounts and markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design or manufacturing, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, they must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and able to travel as needed both in the US and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key accounts and develop strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with sales engineers to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain accurate project proposals and scope of work documents
  • Travel to close projects and deliver presentations to customers
  • Maintain positive productive relationships with factory representatives, engineers, vendors, and other accounts and contacts
  • Update and maintain CRM data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (minimum)
  • 5 years' prior experience in HVAC design or manufacturing industry
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Focused, ambitious, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to travel as needed

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Location: St. Louis, MO (with occasional remote work options)
