Work Schedule

Shifts will be structured as 12-hour rotations, with both day and night options available, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Ensuring adherence to established standards of care and clinical guidelines.
  • Conducting thorough physical assessments and documenting health histories.
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Administering medications and performing wound care as needed.
  • Recognizing and responding to emergency situations promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in hematology/oncology nursing within the last two years.
  • Licensure: Must possess a valid and unrestricted nursing license in the United States.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card.
  • Security: Ability to pass a government background check.
