Position Overview

Peraton is seeking experienced Systems Administrators to provide support for the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. These roles are critical in maintaining operational efficiency at various locations, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT services for Special Operations Forces.

Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in the following areas:
  • Delivering tier one and two network support in alignment with operational directives.
  • Monitoring and managing mid-range application servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conducting system installations, updates, and troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Configuring and fine-tuning operating systems and hardware for enhanced performance.
  • Executing system backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
  • Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for server and virtual machine setups in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Providing technical support for complex operational databases and system interfaces.
  • Documenting system anomalies and troubleshooting processes to maintain equipment performance.
  • Some roles may require flexible working hours to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or 9 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma.
  • Active DoD TS clearance or higher is mandatory.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or 8 years in supporting complex desktop and mobile device environments.
  • DoDD M IAT II certification is required.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate is preferred.

Compensation

The typical salary range for this position is between $66,000 and $106,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
