Peraton is seeking experienced Systems Administrators to enhance the operational capabilities of the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. These roles are integral to maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports critical missions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing tier one and two network support in alignment with established operational directives.
- Monitoring and managing mid-range application servers to ensure optimal performance.
- Implementing system configurations and performing regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Collaborating with senior technical staff to resolve complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintaining detailed operational records, including performance metrics and system reports.
- Delivering project management and administrative support for global IT assets.
Essential Duties
Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Installing and updating operating system software, including necessary patches.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking challenges.
- Optimizing system performance through fine-tuning and monitoring.
- Conducting system backups and executing recovery procedures as needed.
- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for server and virtual machine setups.
- Providing support for complex operational databases and software configurations.
- Documenting system anomalies to ensure high equipment performance.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or 9 years of experience with a High School diploma.
- Possession of a DoD TS clearance or higher.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or 8 years in complex end-user support roles.
- Relevant certifications such as DoDD M IAT II and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is typically between $66,000 and $106,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
