The Hospitality Service Associate plays a crucial role as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring a remarkable first impression for visitors at the Oxford Collection of hotels while upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: All tasks and responsibilities associated with this role must be executed with exceptional care and authentic guest service, consistently reflecting the standards and culture of the Oxford Collection of hotels.
  • Guest Interaction (80%): Check guests into the system, confirming registrations, addresses, and payment details. Respond to all incoming inquiries from guests. Remain accessible to guests at all times. Provide general hotel information. Manage key control effectively. Gather guest feedback regarding hotel services and take necessary actions to address any shortcomings. Update system availability as required. Maintain regular communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining services. Ensure the front desk area is organized while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Uphold integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when dealing with both internal and external clients and guests.
    Execute all duties in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as food safety and sanitation requirements and the safety protocols of the Oxford Collection of hotels. Be knowledgeable and prepared to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor or General Manager.
  • Administrative Duties (10%): Maintain awareness of room inventory at all times. Report any guest incidents to the Evening Manager, Assistant General Manager, and/or General Manager. Conduct cash handling and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Additional Responsibilities (10%): May engage in the drivers program. Perform other hotel-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of performing simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally.
  • While primarily an indoor position, must be able to walk outside in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and frequently lift up to 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
