Job Description

SafeHouse Denver is seeking a Part-Time Domestic Violence Advocate to provide education and facilitate partnerships with youth and youth-serving communities to prevent intimate partner abuse. The Advocate will be located at SafeHouse Denver's Counseling & Advocacy Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advocacy-based support and education to youth and youth-facing agencies.
  • Promote and foster partnerships for the Youth Advocacy Program.
  • Participate in all required staff meetings and supervision.
  • Support SafeHouse Denver's Community Program efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with youth.
  • Superior interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
