Job Title: Director of DV Programs

The Director of DV Programs will oversee the management and support of the Domestic Violence Fatality Review and Child & Youth Services Program Managers. This role involves fostering a collaborative culture among a diverse group of partners and stakeholders to align services with the family justice center model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the development and growth of Child & Youth Services programming, including Pathways and Camp Hope, in collaboration with the Child & Youth Services Program Manager.
  • Oversee the Domestic Violence Fatality Review program, including the Denver Metro DV Fatality Review Team and the Colorado DV Fatality Review Board.
  • Support the expansion of statewide regional review teams, providing training and technical assistance as needed, working with the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Program Manager.
  • Manage the Volunteer and Outreach Program Manager to enhance volunteer and intern programs and community outreach activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising staff, volunteers, or interns.
  • Prior experience or demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
  • Understanding of human service delivery systems and systems advocacy responsibilities; familiarity with the criminal justice system as it pertains to domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • Knowledge of the family justice center model and a demonstrated commitment to collaborative work.
