We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at New York Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the daily opening and closing procedures of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Patient Communication: Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling patient appointments, collecting co-pays, and balancing office finances on a daily basis.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic medical record system.
  • Scheduling: Build and maintain physician schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with the distribution of quality assurance surveys and prevention screenings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Monitor and respond to incoming messages from care team inboxes, collaborating with nurses to ensure seamless communication.
  • Office Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to standard policies and procedures.
  • Special Projects: Perform tasks as assigned for special projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma with at least 1 year of experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork: Ability to accept direction and work within a team concept, demonstrating a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Possession of typing and computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
  • Language Skills: Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
