Collaborating with the Engagement Leader, Manager, Associate, and Analyst, you will address pricing management challenges.

Position Summary: The 9-week Consulting Summer Intern role offers the chance to interact with clients, colleagues, and leadership while gaining insights into a consulting career. You will pinpoint and articulate the analytical and business requirements essential for supporting clients and enhancing profitability. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities will be utilized to develop models, manipulate data, and uncover trends that represent business opportunities for our clients.

Key Attributes: You will exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be capable of identifying alternatives and making informed recommendations. Your ability to analyze data and present compelling arguments will be essential.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Ensure timely delivery of all assigned project tasks according to project timelines, maintaining high-quality results.
  • Adhere to established processes, templates, and tools for creating client materials.
  • Identify and communicate the status, risks, and issues that may affect the quality or timeliness of work.

Analytical Insights:

  • Showcase interest and/or proficiency in tools necessary for project analysis (Excel, Power Pivot, and other analytical software).
  • Provide analysis as directed by team leaders.
  • Conduct ad hoc data queries and analyses using Excel or other tools.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Client Interaction:

  • Responsible for regular reporting and analysis to support clients.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback to enhance client deliverables.
  • Exhibit effective listening and questioning techniques to comprehend issues and challenges.

Team Collaboration:

  • Act as a collaborative thought partner.
  • Serve as a role model for our culture and core values, both internally and externally.
  • Contribute actively to individual and team deliverables.
  • Proactively manage the quality of your own work.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited university, entering the final year of studies prior to graduation in fields such as General Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.

Experience:

  • Academic background in general business, finance, marketing, or management.
  • Experience in economics, mathematics, data analytics, statistics, or actuarial science.
  • Demonstrated capability in project management.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Energetic, driven, and action-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • A high degree of ambition to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
