Job Description

We're looking for a talented Software Developer to work on an array of projects, advancing the DRIVE platform, including development of custom applications for clients, internal tools for consulting users, new features, and scaling the platform to support rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions, including custom applications, internal tools, and new features, to meet the needs of our clients and internal consultants.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the DRIVE platform and related technologies, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software life cycle, including business analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and release.
  • Support project management by identifying and sizing tasks, participating in sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Perform software development guided by industry best practices and test-driven methodologies.
  • Perform peer code reviews and ensure high-quality code.
  • Follow software development best practices and methodologies.
  • Assist in reviewing the scope, complexity, and effort to deliver project tasks.
  • Develop explicit and thorough documentation of all source code and resources, as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and production issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience working as a Software Engineer.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a software engineering role.
  • Familiar with advanced features of at least one high-level language, with the ability to be productive in other languages.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Typescript being highly preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar, is highly desired.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL is required.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos or MongoDB is preferred.
  • Azure Cloud experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional work ethic, judgment, business acumen, attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts and present to senior-level executives.
  • Results-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to impact company culture and meaningfully shape the vision of our company.
