Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CRNA or AA to join our Anesthesiology Department. As a member of our team, you will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities- Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
- Provide anesthesia care to cancer patients, including ordering and administering regional, spinal, and general anesthesia as per American Society of Anesthesiology guidelines.
- Recognize and treat cardiac arrhythmias while patients are under anesthetic care.
- Communicate and consult with referring physicians and serve as a preceptor for anesthesia students.
- Maintain accurate and complete anesthetic records, including timely completion of information needed for billing purposes.
- Master's degree required.
- Training, experience, and education consistent with that received through the successful completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved training program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certification.
