Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a skilled CRNA or Anesthesiology Assistant to join our Anesthesiology Department. As a member of our team, you will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' responses to anesthesia and adjunctive medications.
- Participate in the management of patients in the post-anesthesia recovery area, including ordering fluids and medications and completing post-operative anesthesia evaluations.
- Communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate anesthetic records.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Training and experience consistent with completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
