We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA or AA to join our Anesthesiology Department at Moffitt Cancer Center. As a member of our team, you will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists.
Responsibilities:- Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
- Recognize and treat cardiac arrhythmias while patients are under anesthetic care.
- Order pre-anesthetic medication and perform monitoring procedures as indicated by American Society of Anesthesiology guidelines.
- Communicate with referring physicians and participate in risk management for the department.
- Maintain accurate anesthetic records and document patient information for billing purposes.
- Master's degree required.
- Training, experience, and education consistent with completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved training program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certification.
