Job Summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled CRNA or AA to join our Anesthesiology Department. As a member of our team, you will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients, including ordering and administering regional, spinal, and general anesthesia as per American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) guidelines.
  • Recognize and treat cardiac arrhythmias, and call for help in emergency situations.
  • Document patient information, including anesthetic records and billing information.
Requirements
  • Master's degree required.
  • Training, experience, and education consistent with that received through the successful completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved training program.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certification.
