Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a skilled CRNA or Anesthesiology Assistant to join our Anesthesiology Department. As a member of our team, you will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
- Recognize and treat cardiac arrhythmias while patients are under anesthetic care.
- Order pre-anesthetic medication and perform monitoring procedures as per American Society of Anesthesiology guidelines.
- Communicate with referring physicians and participate in case review and risk management for the department.
- Maintain accurate anesthetic records and document patient information for billing purposes.
We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree and training, experience, and education consistent with that received through the successful completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved training program. Active BLS and ACLS certification is also required.
