Job Title: Room Attendant/Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant/Housekeeper to join our team at Auro Hotels. As a Room Attendant/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, adhering to Auro Hotels' and Branded standards.
  • Assist colleagues when own workstation is completed, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Properly use all cleaning fluids and supplies, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
  • Know and actively practice the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Sort, count, fold, mark, and carry linens, ensuring they are clean and in excellent condition.
  • Make beds with clean sheets, dust furniture, and replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
  • Move furniture, hang drapes, roll carpets, and replace light bulbs, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Empties wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies, sweep and scrub bathroom floors, and clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways when requested.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, and wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Stock and replenish linen rooms if necessary, and sweep patios/balconies, ensuring cobwebs are removed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience as a Guest Room Attendant with an established hotel brand, preferably Marriott.
  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Must speak, understand, and read English.
