Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Intune/SCCM administrator to enhance our IT department through a temporary contract role. This position entails overseeing the management, deployment, and troubleshooting of devices, applications, and updates utilizing Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). The successful candidate will also support significant initiatives, including upgrades from Windows 10 to 11 and the remediation of unmanaged workstations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and sustain the Microsoft Intune and SCCM infrastructure and associated policies.
  • Manage the deployment of devices, applications, and updates via Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges related to device management, application deployment, and update installations.
  • Support the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade initiative, encompassing testing, deployment, and post-upgrade assistance.
  • Contribute to the unmanaged workstation remediation project, focusing on device identification, enrollment, and compliance.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to end users and fellow IT personnel.
  • Document and report on activities and performance related to device management.

Required Qualifications

As an Intune/SCCM administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and securing our organization's devices, applications, and data. The following qualifications are essential for success in this position:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Microsoft Intune/SCCM administrator role or a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM functionalities, features, and best practices.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, including their deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in unmanaged workstation remediation, covering device discovery, enrollment, and compliance.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Intune and SCCM, focusing on device management, application deployment, policy configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of best practices and standards for device security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with provisioning tools like Microsoft Autopilot for automating device setup and configuration.
  • Knowledge of device management solutions such as Microsoft Intune for enforcing security policies, updating software, and monitoring device health remotely.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve common issues related to device enrollment, compliance, and connectivity.
