The City of Richmond seeks an experienced Wastewater Treatment Operations Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations and district vehicle maintenance department.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, directing work on non-standard activities at the facilities, assisting with annual budgeting and coordinating across the sanitary district departments.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in overseeing and assisting managers of the wastewater treatment plant, working with lift stations, and sanitary and storm sewers, vehicle maintenance and heavy equipment maintenance.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with contractors on capital projects and purchases, receive and respond to citizen inquiries and complaints regarding all aspects of the Sanitary District, and formulate and implement solutions to complaints and issues.

You will also be responsible for supervising the WWTP Plant Mechanics and Vehicle Mechanics, scheduling employees and distributing work assignments, evaluating employee performance, performing disciplinary action when necessary and providing corrective instruction as warranted.

We offer a competitive salary range of $47,858.00 - $59,823.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
