About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at OMNI Homecare, a part of LHC Group. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes, helping them regain their physical abilities and achieve independence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, following established plans of care.
  • Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
  • Monitor patient progress, recording and reporting any changes or concerns to supervising OTs, nurse supervisors, and physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements
  • Current OTA licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
