Job Title: Fire Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Fire Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, as well as performing repairs and troubleshooting on a variety of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, including SimplexGrinnell systems
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting on electrical systems, including fire alarm systems, access control systems, nurse call systems, and paging systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • Use test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices to diagnose and repair electrical systems
  • Work with customers to identify and resolve electrical system issues
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm systems, access control systems, nurse call systems, and paging systems
  • NICET Level II certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • Ability to use test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices
  • Ability to work with customers to identify and resolve electrical system issues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NICET Level II certification
  • Experience with SimplexGrinnell systems
  • Experience with access control systems, nurse call systems, and paging systems
