Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Valuation Specialist to join our team at Kroll. As a Portfolio Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing financial models, conducting valuation analysis, and managing teams of senior associates and analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Financial Models: Create complex financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing analyses.
  • Conduct Valuation Analysis: Analyze a diverse range of illiquid investments distributed across industries and geographies, employing established and relevant approaches and theory.
  • Manage Teams: Lead teams of senior associates and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Client Interviews: Conduct client interviews to gather essential data and information for engagements.
  • Client Relationships: Collaborate with internal and external management teams to cultivate and strengthen client relationships.
  • Presentations: Present analyses and conclusions verbally and in written reports.
  • Industry Events: Participate in relevant industry events to expand knowledge and gain experience within the alternative asset industry.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or MBA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models.
  • Skills: Proficient in data analysis and business intelligence techniques, experience in managing diverse engagement teams and clients, working knowledge of authoritative guidance related to valuation and valuation industry best practices, familiarity with software packages like Alteryx, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, working knowledge of market data sources, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
