Regional Vice President of Sales

Paylocity is seeking a highly skilled Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our Major Market sales team. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales directors, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Area Vice President of Sales to establish and execute a sales strategy for the region
- Manage a team of 7-8 sales directors to maximize sales revenue and achieve quarterly targets
- Review regional expenses and ensure they are within budget
- Counsel with each sales director on their monthly sales objectives and weekly activity goals
- Report weekly on team sales results and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each sales director to discuss performance and provide feedback
- Recruit, hire, and train sales directors to meet business needs
- Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management
- 2-3 years of experience in the Major Market Account Payroll space
- Proven track record of managing and directing a high-performing sales team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel and work in a virtual environment
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives
- Deep understanding of the Four Pillars of sales leadership
- Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing sales talent
- Demonstrated leadership and cultural influence within a sales organization
- Positive reputation, results, and relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners
