Job Overview

Paylocity is seeking a highly skilled Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our Major Market sales team. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales directors, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Area Vice President of Sales to establish and execute a sales strategy for the region
  • Manage a team of 7-8 sales directors to maximize sales revenue and achieve quarterly targets
  • Review regional expenses and ensure they are within budget
  • Counsel with each sales director on their monthly sales objectives and weekly activity goals
  • Report weekly on team sales results and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each sales director to discuss performance and provide feedback
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales directors to meet business needs
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Major Market Account Payroll space
  • Proven track record of managing and directing a high-performing sales team
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work in a virtual environment
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives
