The Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for driving the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's rewards programs, policies, and procedures. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources and manages a team of 3 across compensation, benefits, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Total Rewards and Payroll team, including hiring, training, coaching, and all other aspects of people management and development.
- Support the development of Rittal's Total Rewards strategy and contribute to the design and review of benefit and other compensation-related programs.
- Partner closely with Talent Management, Recruitment, and HR Business/People Partnering and Global HR Leadership.
- Oversee payroll operations and the delivery of accurate and on-time biweekly payrolls.
- Ensure compliance with all related federal/provincial legislation and internal policies and procedures.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years' of full-time experience working in a global manufacturing environment with salaried, hourly, and commissioned employee groups.
- Minimum 2 years' of experience leading or providing full scope Total Rewards services with people management experience.
- Strong payroll systems experience and knowledge of job evaluation tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while exercising mature judgment, leadership influence, and decision-making skills.
