In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of products from the moment you depart the facility until all deliveries are completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a delivery vehicle to transport materials to designated sites.
  • Unload and organize building supplies at job locations as instructed.
  • Collaborate with a co-worker to handle materials safely.
  • Oversee the proper loading of the delivery vehicle to guarantee order accuracy and product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations set by regulatory agencies and the company.
  • Follow traffic laws and weight restrictions diligently.
  • Manage and facilitate the unloading process at delivery sites to ensure safe and precise delivery of materials.
  • Maintain site safety in relation to the delivery process.
  • Accurately distribute and position all specified materials as indicated on the delivery ticket.
  • Safely operate a boom, crane, or Gradall as required by customer specifications.
  • Ensure that delivered products are neatly arranged and presented in an orderly manner.
  • Engage in warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.

Note: This position does not involve over-the-road travel.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A or B.
  • Ability to unload, transport, and position all building materials as necessary.
  • Capability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout shifts.
  • Consistent ability to lift and carry up to 115 lbs with assistance.
  • Experience with straight and/or drywall boom trucks is advantageous.
  • Experience with semi-tractors and trailers is beneficial.
  • Trailer-mounted forklift experience is a plus.
  • Crane certification is preferred.
