About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Nurse to join our team at Minnesota Oncology. As a Radiation Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and provide education on radiation therapy treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient assessments and treatment plans in the patient chart
  • Triages patient phone calls and responds to patient inquiries in a timely manner
  • Participates in professional development activities to stay current on radiation therapy best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
  • Minimum of three years nursing experience, with experience in an oncology environment preferred
  • Current or pending oncology certification preferred
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in Minnesota
