We are seeking a skilled Radiation Nurse to join our team at Minnesota Oncology. As a Radiation Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and provide education on radiation therapy treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans in the patient chart
- Triages patient phone calls and responds to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Participates in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in radiation oncology
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
- Minimum of three years nursing experience, with experience in an oncology environment preferred
- Current or pending oncology certification preferred
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in Minnesota
