Overview

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ambulatory Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing innovative and compassionate cancer care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Initiate and document appropriate interventions, evaluate patient response, and prescribe therapies as needed.
  • Promote patient wellness, recommend community resources, and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Stay up-to-date on reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements, ensuring accurate and timely charge capture and medical record documentation.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to provide information on clinical trials and promote palliative care for patients and their families.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for staff, promoting best practices and staying current on the latest research and developments in oncology.
Requirements
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education.
  • Previous experience in oncology is preferred, but not required.
