Job Title: Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineer

SEACORP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Engineering Software Integration (SESI) project, you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of the combat system for surface ships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with customers for technical collaboration and system integration efforts.
  • Foster a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform test and evaluation efforts in support of system level testing.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software related bugs.
  • Verify and Validate bug resolution.
  • Manage hardware and software configurations.
  • Install and maintain hardware and software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of related professional experience, preferably for a DoD contractor.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with working on teams in a geographically dispersed and virtual environment.
  • Experience in systems engineering development and application of tools/practices such as Model Based System Engineering (SysML), requirements development (DOORS) and Test Validation.
  • Familiarity with computer system and switch architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic with a self-starter mindset.
  • Ability to conduct troubleshooting and testing with procedures.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical thinker with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Security Clearance desired.
