Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY ROLE:

Design and specify advanced electrical, mechanical, and automated systems. Enhance manufacturing support and maintenance initiatives through comprehensive training and technical assistance. Develop process specifications, machine parameters, and strategies for minimizing waste and maximizing operational efficiency. Oversee capital projects from the initial planning stages through procurement, installation, testing, and transition to operations. Evaluate top-tier facilities and implement industry-leading processes, equipment, and workflows.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
Design control systems for manufacturing machinery, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Select capital equipment for production processes.

Enhance existing machinery to boost uptime, improve quality, and increase productivity.

Provide engineering support for production equipment and processes, including guidance for maintenance teams.

Establish cost-saving initiatives to meet overall plant objectives.

Advise on enhancements to preventative maintenance programs.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineers for continuous improvement initiatives.

Authorize modifications to machine tool programs.

Train personnel on new technologies and manufacturing methodologies.

Adhere to and maintain Quality Management System and Environmental Management System standards.

Participate in teams and lead team activities.

Monitor and document cost savings.

PFMEAs:
Understand the application of PFMEAs within the organization; develop, maintain, and review PFMEAs as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

This position necessitates technical expertise in machine operations, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.

Proficiency in mechanical design is essential.

Demonstrated skills in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning are required. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial.

Mentorship and development of maintenance staff are expected.

Assist other facilities with technical challenges.

The candidate must be capable of independently managing assigned project tasks.

Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving techniques.
