Job Title: HR Manager

House of Spices Global Foods is a leading importer and distributor of South Asian food products in the USA, with a rich history spanning over 50 years. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR-related functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is a key role that will work closely with senior management and staff to support the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including affirmative action and EEO
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Provide HR support to management and staff
Requirements:
  • Masters' degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)/(SHRM-CP) credential
  • 6-8 years of HR experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
