HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at HL Bowman Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.
About the Role:As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers, diagnosing issues, and providing solutions. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving complex HVAC system problems and ensuring our customers' comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
- Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Valid HVAC technician license/certification.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
