Senior Generator Systems Engineer - SCADA Expert

Agile Resources Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Generator Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of megawatt-scale generator systems. As a SCADA expert, you will be responsible for integrating SCADA and PLC systems for real-time control of fuel, air, cooling, and pressure instrumentation. Your expertise in electrical design tools like AutoCAD Electrical and SCADA communication protocols will be essential in ensuring seamless integration into industrial/commercial power networks.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale (megawatt) generator systems.
Conduct load analysis, fault studies, and risk assessments for optimal system safety and performance.
Integrate SCADA and PLC systems (B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric) for real-time control of fuel, air, cooling, and pressure instrumentation.
Oversee the configuration of communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, Profibus) and design secure, fault-tolerant network architectures.
Model and simulate generator system behaviors using software like Simulink for enhanced control strategies.
Ensure compliance with UL standards, NEC, and IEEE codes.
Lead system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site, ensuring seamless integration into industrial/commercial power networks.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in PLC integration, instrumentation, and SCADA systems for large-scale generator systems.
Hands-on experience with megawatt generator systems and PLCs (e.g., B&R, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric).
Expertise in SCADA communication protocols and electrical design tools like AutoCAD Electrical.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in integrating fuel, air, cooling, and pressure systems.
