Position Summary
Our Leisure division focuses on catering to the recreational and entertainment needs of visitors at various cultural attractions, including parks, museums, and science centers. We manage a wide range of operations, from fine dining establishments to retail outlets, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all culinary operations at the designated site.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all culinary activities are coordinated effectively.
- Estimate food requirements and manage procurement processes.
- Develop and standardize recipes to maintain consistent quality across all offerings.
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards while planning and pricing menus.
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a culinary degree or equivalent post-secondary education, along with two to three years of relevant experience in a similar role. A deep understanding of food service principles and practices is essential, along with strong communication skills in oral, reading, and writing formats.
