Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Experis is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to work onsite in the Boise, ID area for our global manufacturing client. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality hardware components for our SSD products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hardware components for SSD products, including PCBs, firmware, and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all requirements and specifications.
  • Perform signal and power integrity measurements and analyze results to ensure optimal design practices.
  • Document and communicate results with cross-functional counterparts.
  • Simulate and analyze design proposals, review results, and provide recommendations on optimal design practices.
Requirements:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in hardware architecture, design, signal integrity, and power supply design.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PCB design tools (Cadence PCB design and analysis, including Si/Pi).
  • Expertise in the design for optimum signal and power integrity as well as hands-on lab experience.
  • Good working knowledge of state-of-the-art memory device technologies, interfaces such as SATA, SAS, PCIe Gen 3&4, ONFI, and implementation techniques required for high-speed interfaces.
