About the Role

Micron Technology is seeking a skilled Hardware/Firmware Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our memory and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems
  • Evaluate and mitigate vulnerabilities in Micron products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security issues
  • Develop and maintain secure development lifecycle processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis, cryptography, and threat modeling
  • Strong understanding of secure development lifecycles and security standards (NIST, ISO, FIPS)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Desirable Skills
  • Software development experience
  • Embedded system experience
  • Understanding of Agile and CI/CD software development
  • Experience with hardware development and supply chain security
