Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Cyber Security Incident Response Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the security of our high-performance memory and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation, creation, build, bench testing, debugging, and failure analysis of firmware for new high-performance memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD) that will improve performance, while reducing power, latency and SoC (System on Chip) complexity for the target sectors.
  • Partner with multi-disciplinary engineers to seek multi-functional product development issues.
  • Triage failures, file bug reports, and help the development teams with isolating issues.
  • Formally assess and document vulnerabilities in Micron products.
  • Review security mechanisms and security architecture of products.
  • Function as an authority in secure product development.
  • Handle product security incidents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in information assurance/information security.
  • Experience with analyzing vulnerabilities, including severity ratings (CVSS and Common Criteria).
  • Practical and theoretical cryptography experience.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams across a large organization.
  • Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycles.
Desirable Skills
  • Software development experience.
  • Embedded system experience.
  • Hardware design experience.
  • Understanding of Agile and CI/CD software development.
  • Experience with Hardware development.
  • Supply Chain security experience.
