Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at POWER Engineers. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems and apparatus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test electrical systems and apparatus to identify issues and defects
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and apparatus
  • Work with experienced Field Services Engineers or Technicians to gain knowledge and skills
  • Travel up to 85% of the time to perform field work

Requirements

  • Associates degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
  • Completion of junior-level courses in power system analysis and/or power system protection
  • Prior electrical or construction internship experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and various industry standards, such as OSHA and NFPA
