We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Power Delivery Services division. As an expert in electrical engineering, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing substation physical projects.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians on exciting projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV. Your expertise in digital logic design, AC and DC circuits will enable you to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the power systems industry.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing substation electrical projects using your knowledge of digital logic design, AC and DC circuits
  • Performing quality control checks on substation physical design projects
  • Creating and checking bill of materials for substation physical projects
  • Attending site visits at customer locations

Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with internal teams and clients to meet project needs. They should also be able to comply with quality control and safe work practices while maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in substation physical design
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and computer competency

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $117,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
