The estimated annual salary for this position is $81,250 - $146,875, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Substation Physical Engineer to lead and design high voltage utility substation projects. As a core team member, you will interact with other electric utility disciplines, contributing to the success of our diverse and fast-paced organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform conceptual and detailed HV and MV substation physical/electrical design
  • Lead engineering studies and calculations
  • Conduct Quality Control reviews on substation physical design projects
  • Develop leadership skills for future roles on the team

Requirements:

  • Four (4+) plus years of substation physical design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field
  • Experience with grounding studies/lightning protection and lighting studies
