Professor (Endowed Chair & GRA Eminent Scholar)

We are seeking a distinguished scholar-educator and proven leader in high-impact and emerging areas of importance to society, sustainability, and the environment. The successful candidate will be named Hightower Chair and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar, an endowed position.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead large, multi-institution and multi-disciplinary collaborative research efforts
- Establish a strong research program in environmental technologies and sustainability
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Contribute to the development of the next generation of civil and environmental engineers
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field
- Established record of accomplishment in leading large research programs
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Commitment to faculty development and student mentoring
