About the Opportunity

We are seeking a distinguished senior researcher to join our faculty as the Byers Chair Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This endowed position is part of the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar program, which recognizes exceptional scholars who have made significant contributions to their field.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence in telecommunications and communication networks, with a demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary research efforts. They will also have a passion for teaching and mentoring students, as well as a commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in telecommunications and communication networks, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to real-world problems.
  • Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
