We are seeking an exceptional senior candidate to fill the endowed position of the Chaddick Chair and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and teaching excellence, with a focus on electro-optics and its applications.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to lead large multi-institution and multi-disciplinary collaborative research efforts, develop the next generation of electro-optic components, devices, and/or circuits, and contribute to the development of the next generation of electrical and computer engineers. The candidate will also be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electro-optics and related areas, and to mentor students in research projects.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, and a strong record of research and teaching excellence. The candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to lead large research teams and to secure funding for research projects.
