Professor (Endowed Chair & GRA Eminent Scholar)

We are seeking a distinguished scholar and educator to join our faculty as the Hightower Chair and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar. This endowed position is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of environmental technologies and sustainability.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in environmental technologies and sustainability, with a focus on smart cities, sustainable systems, and healthy communities.
- Develop and lead extramurally funded research programs, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, with a focus on developing the next generation of environmental leaders.
- Engage in translational and economic development efforts, with a focus on applying research to real-world problems.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- A strong record of research and teaching experience, with a focus on environmental technologies and sustainability.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of building and leading research teams.
