We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Prestige Care Arbor Place in Medford, OR. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing medication services and direct resident care, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations and the nurse practice act.
- Administer and assist with the self-administration of routine and non-routine medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and the nurse practice act.
- Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services provided or omitted, including controlled substances, in each resident's clinical record.
- Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and refills.
- Report all medication errors per policy.
- Provide direct resident care while promoting the resident's dignity, independence, and choice.
- Assist with or provide care services as directed by the resident's cooperative service plan.
- One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or as required by state regulations.
- Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification.
- Must have word processing skills.
- Must have current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
Prestige Care Arbor Place offers a competitive hourly pay rate, with a maximum of $26 and a minimum of $17.50. We also offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
