The Global Power Programs Directorate is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of a substantial portfolio valued at $10 billion, encompassing both legacy and advanced military aircraft. This includes renowned platforms such as the F-15, F-16, and A-10, alongside cutting-edge systems like the F-22 and F-35. The portfolio also covers the Air Force's munitions procurement, which includes critical weaponry utilized in current operations. Additionally, the Global Power portfolio includes investments in the nuclear triad, addressing both legacy and modernized ICBM and Cruise Missile initiatives.
The Acquisition Program Analyst, SME plays a vital role in supporting high-level actions related to the NC3 enterprise, which includes various communication systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and defense of HAF budgets, including oversight and decision-making processes.
- Analyze and provide insights on requirements, acquisition strategies, and program documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing studies and developmental efforts related to weapon systems.
- Undertake additional tasks as coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD acquisitions within a System Program Office or Air Force Headquarters.
- At least 5 years of experience in complex system-of-systems architectures and enterprise-level cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including budget documentation development.
- Proficiency in all standard office IT tools and the ability to learn software used by the Department of the Air Force, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.
